xdmchoose is a replacement chooser for the default XDM chooser. It presents a vaguely pretty interface and allows the user to type in a hostname, rather than selecting a pre-defined one from a list, or broadcasting to the network to discover available hosts.
Once entered, the user can query the desired host to discover whether or not it is willing to accept connections, or attempt a connection.
Also included is a small command-line utility, xdmping, which is a non-X way of testing a host's willingness to manage your X session.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
