Notes:

Pygame is a Python package used for creating games. It uses the fantastic SDL library to do all its dirty work. Pygame, it takes the "C" out of "Game Development".

Anyways, the project is actually very mature at this point. It also offers more functionality than you get with basic SDL. Perhaps it is most easily explained with the classic bulleted feature list. :]

From the website you can get a list of current projects, and screenshots. There is an active mailing list and irc channel available as well.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
