Notes:

newsfetch is a very well thought out userland network news fetcher that saves news in mail format. The original author is Yusuf Motiwala. I assumed stewardship of it after attempting to contact him and sending emails out to various newsgroups about it. I waited about 3 weeks.

The current release is nothing more than me changing the style a bit , tightening some lines and removing anything that is not used.

FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
