Notes:

makefaq is a Python program that creates a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) HTML page or text file from a specially formatted text data file.

It was created because I had to maintain a FAQ and got very tired of creating all the internal links on the page. In its latest version, it now supports a flexible multi-line data file format that allows for the easier entry of information.

Development of the project continues at SourceForge.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
