Gnutizen is a Gnutella servent (server/client) written in C. It is still inchoate and in development, we are working to bring it up to the Gnutella v0.4 specification (and then the v0.6 specification). Once that we reach that mark, we will concentrate on implementing HUGE hashing and partial file sharing and other features. We have also worked from the beginning to have Gnutizen compile automagically across multiple platforms, from Linux to Windows to Solaris to BSD. We strive to be a Gnutella client with all the standard features, which is a good neighbor on the Gnutella network, and which utilizes aspects like hashing and partial file sharing to the utmost.
This project has the following developers:
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
