Xswallow is a quick hack to reparent X apps into the netscape window which netscape reserves for a plugin. By pretending to be a plugin that can handle just about anything and delegating to existing programs it makes life a lot prettier and easier for the suffering unix netscape user
While there are similiar programs in existance Xswallow is generic enough to use any X app as a delegate, and also non X apps for non visual mime-types. It works and its configurable enough to do pretty much whatever you want.
This project has the following developers:
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
