Unicon is a development of the Icon Programming Language, a very high level programming language. Over what Icon offers (novel control structures, built-in structured datatypes, garbage collection, X11 or Windows graphics support) Unicon adds object-oriented support, POSIX facilities - networking, filesystem manipulation etc. - and an extensive class library of UI widgets.

Icon is available for just about every platform; Unicon (due to the POSIX support ) is only available for Unix and Windows-NT platforms.
