CVS is for a software production environment oft still too low-level. Trug aims to let developers interact on the basis of units of work, bugfixes, etcetera with the code repository. Commands won't be on the level of "create a branch", but rather on the level of "start work on bug #123". The system can and should figure out what to stuff where, a developer couldn't care less (as long as it works :-)).
Trug is developed in Python, and will initially sport integration with Bugzilla. That's because that's what we use at Acriter Software. Check the website for the initial paper and track the CVS repository, all input is welcome!
This project has the following developers:
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
