Notes:

Tricorder is a graphical tool for taking ipgrab output and producing a network diagram showing SIP transactions, on the fly. It is written in Perl using Tk. Tricorder is released as part of Vocal.

Apologies are due to Gene Roddenberry, and thanks to bko, for the name.

Update: After a long hiatus, I am planning to begin Tricorder development again. (Vocal was released open-source in March of 2001, so it's high time I did something with it.) Each Vocal release is one big tarball, and CVS is not open to the public, so I am working with Cisco to get the contents of CVS. That way I'll get to keep Vocal's revision history when I set up my own working repository. This won't be a fork; the plan is to merge stable releases back into Vocal CVS.

Cisco has been very cooperative so far, but I'm having trouble getting back to my old engineering contacts after all this time so I can find someone to tar up the CVS stuff and send it to me. I'll post another update soon.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
