Notes:

SystemC is a hardware/software modeling system written in C++. It supports concurrency, bit-true data types, and discrete-event modeling either at the register transfer level (RTL) or transaction level. It is supported by a partnership (OSCI) that includes many electronic design automation (EDA) companies as well as electronics companies (see website).
