Notes:

Syck is a YAML toolkit for scripting languages. (At the moment: Python, Ruby and PHP.) It is the result of recoding YAML.rb in C, based on ideas found in Ruby's marshal.c. Benchmarking has shown Syck to be in close proximity of speed to the native marshalling formats of Python, Ruby and PHP. Extensions are included for Ruby, PHP and Python. A Perl module is also available. Syck is now included with the Ruby 1.8.0 distribution.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
