Notes:
This is "clean slate" Smalltalk, designed from the ground up to support many interesting and powerful ideas in a coherent way.
The specific features of the language are the support of both multi-method dispatch and prototype-based objects, and support for optional typing and syntactically-abstract macros.
The run-time architecture is novel in placing the binary compiler at a primary place within the system, and a virtual machine as a secondary part of the design.
It is also culturally related to Squeak in some ways.
