Sharif Linux is a GNU/Linux distribution, developed by Sharif FarsiWeb, Inc. for the special requirements of the Iranian market. Its desktop edition supports both the Persian language (the official language of Iran) and the English language.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
