Notes:

A prototype C implementation of the Freenet protocol, data store and routing mechanism, written with scalability (i.e. using both pthreads and select(2)) and maintainability (since the Freenet node-to-node protocol is rather... unspecified at the moment) in general as the third and fourth priorities.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
