Notes: Personal Telco is a community network in the vein of NYC Wireless, Seattle Wireless and Consume in London. We started in November 2000 and are busily deploying nodes around the Portland, Oregon region.

The basic idea is to provide free (as in freedom and as in beer) network access within the Portland metropolitan area by leveraging 802.11b wireless gear, Linux/*BSD and residential grade broadband connections.

New Advogato Features

FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
