Notes:

Muse an authoring and publishing system for Emacs. It makes it trivial to generate HTML and PDF from plain text, which is written using conventions familiar to most Emacs users. It will soon be included in the Emacs distribution.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
