LiveJournal is the software which powers LiveJournal.com, developed by LiveJournal.org, the non-profit wing of LiveJournal.

The contributors to LiveJournal are often LiveJournal.com volunteer staff members too, but some people do work exclusively on the code.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
