The ppc64 linux kernel project is all about getting linux running on larger 64 bit PowerPC processors. Currently these are all IBM machines (RS/6000s, pSeries, AS/400, iSeries) but hey some day, you never know!
In some ways it's a port of the existing 32 bit PPC kernel, in others ways it's been redesigned to work on and perform well in a larger environment.
This project has the following developers:
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
