Notes:

The Linux Video and DVD project. LiViD is a collection of all the video related projects (incl DVD!) currently underway for Linux. The major LiViD suprojects are OMS, a full-featured DVD player, mpeg2dec, a simple test bed for the mpeg2 code, and ac3dec, the corresponding test bed for the dolby ac3 code.

(As of October 2002, and for many months before this, the LiViD web site has been dead and the projects have moved elsewhere. Oh well. But #livid lives on!)
