Notes:

GARstow is a version of the GAR ports system that's been modified to use stow for installing packages. It comes with a fairly large collection of ports for common software (over 400 packages at the moment), covering most of the stuff you'd want on a desktop machine, including things like XFree86.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
