Notes:

This may in the future be a part of the GNU homepage. It lives on the University Computer Club's site for now, while work procedes on it, but it's not an official GNU site for now.

Any contributions are welcome and are needed. Authorative information is needed about:

Which hardware is supported by the free operating systems
How the hardware support was generated - did it come about with the assistance of the manufacturer or by other means? The goal is to make it easier for free software advocates to buy from friendly manufacturers.
Anything else believed to be useful within the topic
