This is a perl module that allows one to represent ECD files as a tree of perl objects. ECD stands for Embedix Component Description, and ECD files store meta-data for packages in the Embedix Linux distro. There are 2 other ECD parsers (one in python and another in C++), but they are both proprietary. I felt there ought to be a [fF]ree alternative, so I wrote Embedix::ECD.
