Another coding-project hijack, this one is a distributed- computing wrapper for an ECM factorer. The actual author of the package at http://www.interlog.com/~tcharron/ecm.html is Tim Charron, but the last change in this otherwise quite usable code was on June 1999. After asking him whether the source could be distributed under open source license to safgeguard my changes I've fixed a few bugs and some logic. Because there's been no new release from him it has formed into something I would like to consider the "official release". Due to various shortcomings in the current sourcebase, future plans include a complete ground-up rewrite for more portability, robustness and to support more distributed computing efforts. The current code is serving ECMnet project quite well currently, though, and the Cosm SDK or a number of other distributed-computng- frameworks in the works may make a re-write unneccessary.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
