Notes:

The Direct Rendering Infrastructure is the core part of X.Org that allows hardware assisted 3D rendering. The performance of 3D rendering hardware tends to lag behind that of proprietary hardware because most hardware has to be reverse engineered. If you'd like to find out how you can help improve Free Software support for 3D rendering hardware, or if you'd like to see or report benchmark numbers for your 3D hardware, visit the Free 3D Wiki.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
