Notes:

Free Software community's software base is like the Ancient Persian Empire: far wider than any other seen before. It's sometimes hard to make usage of this diversity.

There are nice graphical front-ends. And there's Darius* trying to collect some scripts that are all designed to be faster and easier to use than the command line that would normally be required to accomplish the same task.

If you made some scripts (shell, perl, or other) that fit to this description, please propose them for inclusion by sending a nice mail to darius-tools-dev@nongnu.org

Darius Tools are split-up in different subprojects. Each one is technically independant. Darius in the continuation of tui-sh.

Darius Tools include:
- Darius Sound-related Tools http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/darius-sound/
- Darius Text-related Tools http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/darius-text/
- Darius Admin-related Tools http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/darius-admin/
- and finally Darius Misc Tools http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/darius-misc/
