Notes:

The Cygwin/X project is a port of the X Window System to Cygwin. Our source code is contained in the xoncygwin CVS tree on SourceForge. Cygwin tools are, "... ports of the popular GNU development tools and utilities for Windows 95, 98, and NT. They function by using the Cygwin library which provides a UNIX-like API on top of the Win32 API."

As of November 2003, Cygwin/X operates on Windows 95 and later.

The Cygwin/X project would love to have you as a contributor, and we go out of our way to make sure that new contributors have plenty of documentation to help them get started. We've even got a Contributor's Guide with step-by-step source download, source updating, building, and even cross compilation instructions.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
