Notes:

CVS is the Concurrent Versioning System. It is the repository-based version control system used as the backbone for many, many free software projects.

Cyclic, which maintained CVS for many years, has been bought and sold twice now since it left Jim Kingdon's hands. The project is now hosted by Collabnet and continues to be maintained although there are numerous efforts afoot to write the successor to CVS.

But until something else clearly takes its place as the free-software repository of choice, CVS at least deserves a project page here. :-)

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
