Notes:
The AdaOS project is a project to create a new operating system mostly written in the Ada programming language, in order to help promote the Ada language.
Typical modern techniques - those which are pragmatic - will be used for the design of this operating system: it will be based on a microkernel which supports efficient IPC; it will be fully distributed; it will have an object system based on CORBA and PCTE.
The project is still at a very early stage (no code has been written yet), but is attracting a lot of interest.
