Anyone who do bioinformatics for a living here?
Yes, In the past year which I am not active at advogato, I discovered a few things :-
A number of large corporations, including Microsoft Corp., General Electric Co. and Cisco Systems Inc., have stepped up to the plate in the wake of Tuesday's attacks in New York and Washington, pledging financial and technical assistance to help the recovery efforts across the country.
Microsoft said this week that it had donated $10 million in cash and technical services to support the relief and recovery efforts in New York and other areas affected by the tragic events of Sept. 11.
i have to admit that microsoft windowsXP GUI/Explorer/IE is way more advance than Gnome/* or KDE/Konqueror.
Oh,talking about performance,i know sorting before accessing it will slow down the system a lot.
How about hash the list, then search it?
I can just think of storing your stuffs in multi-dimensional array. Then you can sort/reverse-sort particular dimension and get the latest element.
is it ok?
What sort of sorted list is that?
Some data entries seperated by line breaks?
I wanna give it a try to exercise my brain, more details please!
