After hearing about Zero Footprint several times in the press (they've inked deals with both Air Canada and the city of Toronto), I decided to check out their site the other day. After considerable digging, I could find absolutely no documentation on the economic or scientific model they were using for calculating an individual's carbon footprint. A message to info@zerofootprint.net has received no response (so far). Am I the only one who sees a serious problem here? How can anyone have confidence in their projections? Because they have a scientific advisory board with big names on it? For all we know, they're just making their numbers up.FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
