Older blog entries for whaletales (starting at number 2)

Well I've popped in having remembered I have an account here and everything seems to be very quiet indeed. The interface here, as I spotted mentioned elsewhere (but forget which diary it was now, and I'm not going to track it down!), is less than intuitive and may be discouraging activity. Wouldn't it make sense to switch to a Planet based system to incorporate peoples own diaries/blogs? For those without the facility simply providing a shared blog here that also feeds the Planet would do the trick. Just a thought in passing...

Well it's a long time since I joined and I've just updated my info. If you're really lucky I'll find the time to write something interesting, but that may be tricky given the time I'm putting into work. Still at least it is significantly Linux and FLOSS related - although that's probably more to my benefit than any poor soles reading this! By the way, since I'm back here editing a typo I may as well apologise for the fact that I added this forgetting that it will hit the home page for a while. It was as much for my reference when I drop back in as anything else - hope you weren't too bored reading these few lines!

OK, I'm here, and I shall have to sit and observe for a while. Still, there's no point trying to run before you can walk as they say. With any luck I'll be able to think of exciting to say in my next entry, but don't hold you're breath. I'll just have to get coding and get my new project site on line...

In the meantime check out the SmoothWall project that I am involved with. You should find a couple of other project members around here too... rmorrell and neurogato.
