Right, 1st diary entry, and I'm having a cold :-/

The most interesting stuff my spare time is eaten by, would be my hacking on libwpd. Version 0.7.0 is nearly done, which will support WordPerfect 4.2 and 5.x type documents. Especially the WP5.x support seems to be a really really wanted feature.

Even better is that I allready adapted AbiWord's WordPerfect plugin to make use of this cool new stuff, and it seems to work like a charm.

Although I personnaly find the following a bit less interesting, I guess quite a lot of people will like this: I fixed the last remaining issues in libwpd that prevented wpd2sxw (a cool command line tool written by wlach to convert WordPerfect document into OpenOffice.org documents) from working correctly with those newly supported WordPerfect 4.2 and 5.x type documents.

libwpd is really starting to become a nice library.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
