I might like to recall how I got here in the first place.

(That does sound like a reasonable starting point.)

Instead of reading the next chpater in "In Green's Jungles" (Gene Wolfe), I ventured on to slashdot -- work was chaotic today (as the ISP that hosts our DNS went kaput) and thus I only am getting to my web musings just now --

From slashdot I wandered to A Free and Open History of Free and Open Source Software, took a brief detour through The Tragedy of The Commons, came back to freeandopen, which pointed me to a Salon article about advogato.

So here I am.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
