Some suggestions from the FreePM discussion list have led me to release just the prescription & patient registration modules as a functional package. This may encourage use by several physicians that would not want to put the time & effort in to install a complete EMR/PM system from scratch.
I'm also two weeks late getting the HOWTOs categorized for the Zope site. Sorry guys. I hope you don't make business plans based on the response time of volunteers.
FreePM is coming along nicely. Added quite a few things that are already on the feature list. I've gained a lot of 'Zope Zen' (some painful) the past couple of weeks.
One thing really frosted me this week was the patent announcement by eMedicine. They seemed to have patented "Group Publishing Systems" on he internet / on intranets and everywhere. I see so much prior art (CVS, PCVS, wikkiwikkiweb, and of course Zope and most things built on it ) that it's astounding. Someone has to challenge this patent.
Back to work....
It's a pretty hard sell to get people to put in the time required for a good beta when you're talking about a mission critical / time consuming application like this.
I'll also get to meet several of the openhealth mailing list members there. So we will probably have an opensource BOF of some type.
FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
