Considering that the majority of the population is anti-war, Tony Blair suffered the biggest parliamentary revolt in history at the last commons vote on whether the Gulf War mk2 should go ahead, and 1million+ people turned out for the antiwar demonstration last month, I don't think you can claim any populist support from here.
Also, please can you explain what you plan to do with Israel, since they are also in violation of a UN resolution and have been for the last 50 years?
