Notes: I am currently working on an icecast-guide, which is oriented on the practical use of icecast. So far, the webserver of the icecast project (http://www.icecast.org) and the current releases of the source are very confusing. A lack of current documentation, and the lacking of livecast are signs. I hope this gets better in the near future. Perhaps searches someone icecast Version 1.3.0. This release is pretty stable and has livecast and good documantation in it. Get it under http://www.netz-verwaltung.de/stuff/icecast-1.3.0.tar.gz For myself, I must reorganize this stuff here (Notes and diary) ASAP.

well, i haven't found a recording of a RMS speech. bad.
Does anyone can serve with that? Please be so kind and send me a copy.

Well, the Chaosradio of the CCC is now available as mpeg stream. (http://chaosradio.ccc.de, in a few days) icecast of course.

Sadly, i am very busy right now with my move to Berlin.
Let's see, how things will happen.

Yeah. LinuxTag 2000 in Stuttgart, Germany was great.

Silicon Graphics showed very nice hardware, i discovered "ROCK Linux", which is just another (but interesting) GNU/Linux distribution.

I will post some more information about it in a few days.

And I first saw RMS at his impressive keynote on Saturday. I must find a mp3 of the keynote of "Saint IGNUtius", really worth getting and seeking it.
