laptop I've had some problems with the keyboard on my laptop acting up -- seeming to forget that I removed my finger from a key and similar. I finally tracked this down tonight; it seems like it was IO-APIC which tickled a bug somewhere. It's good to be able to write properly on the keyboard without fearing that it'll jump on me.

university. three exams down, one to go: physics, on Thursday. Still got 300 pages to read. Wish me luck.

debian-installer. got the alpha out on Saturday night, some decent feedback. This is going to rock.

debian-installer. Polish and cleaning and such. d-i is actually coming into shape at a rapid pace. Nice piece of software. mkfs and mount code is there, reporting tool needs to be written. swap creation support needs to be added, then we are there.

Good gut feeling.

debian-installer. Hacked some more on the new installer, finally fixed the bug I tracked down yesterday, so reselecting menu entries should work fine now and the fix is in CVS. I'll sync the archive with CVS tomorrow since my head feels like it's going to fall off now. A step closer to d-i alpha..

Hacked debian-installer until 05:00. Found the bug which made reselecting mount/mkfs hang, thanks to a debugging session with tausq. Next target: menu priorities, then "save installation report and mail to debian-testing". Then we are set for alpha release.

unbroken chrpath in Debian again, thanks to liiwi for noticing the bug. Also two new upstream versions.
