Warning : The text below may be wieved by some as Major Flamebait. In a sense, it is... However, it's of the type designed to wake up people and get them to think

hadess, are publicly insulting me for a personal opinion...

I don't tell you you are a cretin because you love the euro-skeptic-brits... fine with me, stay there.

Now, for more insight on the euro-skeptic-british, here are a few verifiable thruths :

They only seem to go where the americans go

the war on iraq is good example

the presence of US electronic surveillance bases used against the interests of european companies, for the benefit of US ones (see how Airbus was spied on for the benefit of Boeing).

trying to impose Generically Modified crops

trying to impose US-style software patents (unfortunately, no one could patent human stupidity, there's WAAAAAYYYY too much prior art)

They seem to always be against anything the other countries in europe are interested in

They tried to poison us with their beef

They tried to get non-processed cheese illegal (with denmark) because they couldn't copy it

They refused (and still refuse to this day) to use the Euro, so, by themselves, they are refusing to acknowledge their membership in the European community

It's interesting to note that De Gaulle refused the euro-skeptic-brits in the EU as long as he was in... There must have been something that made him think the euro-skeptic-brits were not acceptable in some ways. Guess we start to see them as they should.

I think it's clearer everyday that the euro-skeptic-brits are only interested in taking whatever suits them and not whatever doesn't, which isn't the way that a union/community is created. By their actions, the euro-skeptic-brits are setting themselves out of the European community, hence they should eventually be expelled, once the people at the european parliament come to their senses.

Now, for those brits that are euro-fans, you are welcome to emigrate to France, or anywhere else in the European community. it will be a lot easier then to sort the chaff from the grain when the European Community finally gets rid of those other brits that are a hindrance...

holidays

ok, I'm on holiday tonight...

I will take the train to paris to meet with Emmanuel Goldstein (of 2600 fame) at the meeting there :D

gah, still have to wait 4 hours before living work... that's gotta be the longest 4 hours of my life.

life

never told you life sucks ?

ok. then I just did it

PS: if a nice non smoking girl between 23 and 30 reads it, my heart is available :-)

Slashdot sucks...

The university of Texas (Austin) sucks too..
They digitize their copy of the gutemberg bible for the world to see, then slapp the following legalese on the work :

"Further reproduction of any of the Gutenberg Bible images without the written consent of the Ransom Center is prohibited.
Inquiries regarding the availability of higher-resolution digital images for research or publication should be directed to the Center's staff."

what the hell does that mean ?

ok... long time, no diary...

Just came back from Avignon where I go during week ends (have to granny-sit...)

The trip there was total HELL, with all those tourists going in droves from northern europe to the riviera. At one point, I was stuck in a 30km long traffic jam.

now, on to projects...

Since last year, I have started the Navsys project, which has 2 goals.

act as a car stereo and GPS application

capture data for the Free World Road-Maps project

you can get the info about that really cool project on it's web page, at http://sxpert.esitcom.org/projects/navsys.
