Whew. I recently sat for the CISSP examination. What a test.
250 security-related questions in six hours. I got my
results Monday, and I passed, so its now back to cluster
things.

I get to rebuild my 16-node VA cluster, but I managed to get
on Scyld's new Beowulf beta program, so here I am back at
the bleeding edge. Actually, I'm looking forward to playing
with it, and getting a cluster that's, if not actually high
tech, at least has all the latest and greatest.

Also started playing around with Mac G4s and AppleSeed.
Interesting stuff. The G4 chip is fast. In
crunching distributed.net packets, the G4/500 was 4 times as
fast as my PIII/500. The 128-bit processing rocks.
