Will code for food!

This world isn't well built for the support of wandering programmers, but it's getting better. I have a few opportunities to code for things other than money, specifically free geek and Sisters of the Road Cafe. Free geek offers me nearly unlimited linux-y computer access for minimal volunteering, and Sisters offers food for similar work. Not much, but it isn't bad.

After my interlude in the forest and elsewhere, i have come back and released the next iteration of Ruby-LinkParser. This is the pure ruby version now, which doesn't come close to the C version in terms of functionality, but there is still alot of fun to be had with it as it is. I'm working now on making a more useful interface, along the lines of ged's ruby Linguistics module.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
