Boo!
Holy cow, I'm on the front page of slashdot. Holy cow.
That "later" happened a few months later than I expected. It was a little bumpy, but the thing is finally released (version 0.1 even). Hopefully someone will find it useful. Maybe I actually qualify for "journeyer" now.
Lots happening this week.
I am surprised at the remarkably low level of fear, uncertainty, and doubt regarding the Liberty specs released yesterday. Even most of the slashdot discussion is fairly reasoned. It's good to see something you have contributed released to the public, imperfect as it may be...
More later.
I have a different job, as of sometime in the vicinity of the last two weeks. I am doing at least some new and different things. This is good. I am doing lots of things. This is also good. I am doing too many of them at once. This is not good. I need to relax this weekend. Bye for now.
Spent a few hours porting mpeg4ip to Mac OS X so I can use it on my iBook. This was rather surprising in that it all worked on the first run except for the sound. I am amazed. I should debug the sound tomorrow (today, whatever, same diff).

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
