Saturday

I went to a CABAL installfest for the first time in a month or two and to a CABAL meeting for the first time in many months. I met some interesting people. There were two women there from an advertising agency which is preparing some ads for Linux and free software in general on behalf of IBM. (It's already been reported that IBM is considering a major ad campaign to promote Linux; it's true, and some of the people involved were there at the Cow Palace asking about it. Perhaps some of you reading this will be asked if you want to participate. From my conversations there, I think they could definitely do it right.)
