Heh. It's kind of fun watching the misinformation spread. I was quoted on Kuro5hin not because I made some sort of unilateral decision to oust K5 from OSDN, but because Rusty Foster (K5 founder) is my friend and I was happy to speak freely and honestly with him -- and because as OSDN Editor in Chief, sometimes I get stuck with making the nasty pronouncements. Part of the job.

So it goes. My main thing is chasing news. I like it, and I especially enjoy covering Linux and Open Source. As long as OSDN and VA whatever (I had -0- input on that name change) are willing to pay me so I can do it full-time, cool. Beyond that, I try to stay as far away from coporate politics as I can.

Some of the changes we're making depress me, but some are kind of exciting and are going to lead to better coverage (in the news sense) of Linux and Open Source.
