Humm, it seems like all Conectiva 6.0 mirrors are overloaded... Luckily I still have about 75% of the bandwith available on ftp.nl.linux.org, which is the mirror I'm running. Since there is especially much interest in the apt-get for RPM source packages, those are also mirrored. A full apt-able setup should be available soon...

OK, after about 2 weeks of hard work, I have a stable and reasonably well behaved patch with a minimal (ready for 2.4) implementation of the new memory management layer.

The only thing which needs testing now is performance. Does the patch run well on your workload?

First and last diary entry here for a while (see my other diary for sporadic upgrades). Following lilo's suggestion, I have downgraded a few of my certifications. Don't feel upset if I downgraded you a little, it's the ranking that has changed, not my apreciation of your skills...

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
