Ahhh. Because I was not certified, I could not accept a role on a project. Now, however, I can do so.

I'm still attempting to figure out how the "Projects" in Advogato work. I am able to create a project, and can assign myself a role within that project, but I cannot take a role in another project nor can I assign other people I role in my project.
