Formerly involved in porting OSS apps to big-endian architectures, particularly to PowerPC. For some time, was actively involved in the OMS (dvd player) and Quakeforge projects, as well as several others (on a smaller scale). Over the years has created several projects of his own, none of any significance. One of his small perl scripts, one that converts StarDock XP Cursors themes to xfree86 compatible 32-bit animated cursors, called sd2xc.pl, has been included in several Linux distributions and has been featured by LinuxWorld magazine. Recently, has been spending time working on his web-hosting company, GrokThis.net. Currently developing a proprietary hosting control panel; considerations regarding 'opening' this project are ongoing.

Launching Fonomo.com - free web-based video conferencing for all platforms that are supported by Flashplayer. (it might even work under Gnash)
The Pidgin plugin is almost complete as well...
FYI - My webpage is http://eric.windisch.us/ and my webhosting company is http://www.grokthis.net/.
Just fixed OMS on PowerPC, the patch is available on the Livid-dev mailing list.. hopefully it gets applied! If it doesn't, no big deal.. the GCC bug it works around has been fixed :)
I need to write some stuff for class in java, so I may be releasing a simple Java Webbrowser called Jbrowse soon.
Amongst other news, my server is going though puberty so it should be setup as I want it soon! http://pilam.grokthis.net is coming along slowly, but nicely. I'll need to rewrite bwbohh.net since I accidently ran 'rm -rf *' in the wrong directory! :P GrokThis.net could be a great site for information, if I ever get around to it :)
