I managed to release a new version of common lisp controller. New in this version are an off-line mode of operations. If the clc-send-command cannot reach the server or you selected to only do daily builds in the debconf interface then the client will just leave a message for the cronjob in /var/spool/common-lisp-controller. A nightly cronjob will then with care sort through the files in that directory and try to execute the jobs. Writing a shellscript that will look at potentially evil data as root is not my idea of a fun time...
In other news: B5 season 3 is just great.
