We started preparing for LPI-2 exams and training in November. Daniel Amthor of Linupfront.de is guiding us from Germany in the eLearning component (i.e. email and other online activities). This is geared to ramp us up to the week long training on the first week of November just before we sit the exams.

I am pleased with the content of LPI-2 because it covers a lot of topics that I may have overlooked before in my personal study of Linux systems administration. Although I have to admit that I am familiar with most of the topics, I have not really focused on mastering some of them for lack of need. This will help round out my own understanding of the various systems that comprise the gamut of the discipline.

I have to juggle my time between studying, writing a training manual and preparing slides/screencasts and minor chores at home, but it is all good.

Tagalog word for the day: karaniwan (ka-ra-nĂ-wan) - ordinaryo; komun

Karaniwan na hindi ako kumakain ng almusal pagkagising ko sa umaga.
