Ban Hydraulic Fracturing on All Public Lands, President Obama

Hi,

I signed a petition to Sally Jewell and President Barack Obama which says:

"I am calling for an immediate ban on oil and gas fracking on all federal lands. The Bureau of Land Management's draft rules for fracking on public lands fail to protect the water we drink, the air we breathe, the climate we depend on, and the land many of us call home. This land is our land and should be managed for the good of the people, not corporate profits for the oil and gas industry.
"

After taking to the hills with my bicycle trailer, I'm still here. It's a great workout. #biking #carfree

I finally decoded the Owings Mills suburb of Baltimore. What a nightmare, but it's done now. #biking #carfree pt. 3

  1. When you click the Google map, choose directions, and click on the bicycle to correct the route. #biking #carfree

  2. Caveat. Avoid Reiserstown road, or ride on the sidewalk. It is the most bicycle hostile commercial strip I've ever been on #biking #carfree

  3. Cut thru the mall parking lot.

  4. One other recommendation is to use the restroom in the library at the Owings Mills Metro stop. #biking #carfree

  5. The routes avoid the bicycle hostile roads of Owings Mills by cutting thru the suburban neighborhoods #biking #carfree #Baltimore #Maryland

  6. Actually, the starting point is the Metro stop. You can easily be in the countryside in a matter of minutes using these routes.

I just spoke out against #fracking in #Maryland--will you?

Hi,

Governor O'Malley's administration just proposed regulations for fracking--a troubling step towards lifting the state's fracking moratorium. I just submitted a public comment telling him not to allow fracking in Maryland.

Will you join me in calling on Governor O'Malley to ban fracking? Click here to read more and submit a comment: http://act.credoaction.com/letter/maryland_regulations_comments?referring_akid=8339.2988458.9RceXq&source=mailto-n1
