learning... learning...

amen.

studies

well, all the things going *quite* well, and thus having no problem in all aspects, damn it, there is octopus card sounding again and again in my screw's computer lab.

FUCK, damnit.

linux

I'm not going to held any courses this year, heh, may be next year, okay...?

studies

oh well, i had found a lot of problems in my concepts of physics, so i gotta study hard and maybe i'll ask my teacher a few question about physics, how can i be able to understand quantum mechanics while not having a solid background on physics?

linux?

still struggling if i should pay more attention here though
I'm looking for some little contribution that i can do. i can translate english <--> chinese. :-)

finally, i got some time, at least, back to my real life and got some time to pick up this thing again. hopefully this diary i would write along...

Oh well, today is a fine day isn't it? Backup on my whole system, costed me 12 CD-Rs and a toast...

Progeny

It's good. I was wrong. it was the damned KDE package who mess up my .gtkrc with the completely wrong figures. and fonts. shoot. how can I, a 31337 lamer be kicked by this? :p

Debian

Just installed a debian for my friend, that's really a good thing. he got much to teach me too, but that's music :)

Examination

luckily, got 1 subject topped (first :P), 1 subject in the first 5, and more... :) good thing. let me keep that up.

Free software

We shall fight, and we shall win.

today... back to school and get some useful things out there, (honestly a report card actually... but hopefully it would be filled with red ink (ya know what's going on) Progeny stop messing up with my damned progeny linux, thus upgraded it to become sid :) that's all for today :)
Debian

sid finally fixed its god-damned libc6 to the recent really-working version. greak work, ben! continue it.

Progeny

Now i know what is meant by 'updating' == 'dying'. the updates completely messed up my gtk i18n configuration, bullshit.

gtk

the width between gtk and kde2 has been greater and greater. i would like to see how good gtk can go... give me something, gtk! or, i may need to switch.. eh...

Advogato

eh, anyone? please rate me, u know, i'm a observer :P

eh, too bad! just tracked over the progeny linux with a deb woody || potato source, messed it up. the i18n in progeny linux is completely bullsh*t comparing with the real plebian chinese.

packaging jmcce for the progeny linux. tried to port all sorts of redhat-CLE things onto it (pretty l10n hackish writings), receive a 50% success rate.

done some biology past papers on regents, around 97% success rate, kewl.

p.s. _do not download the 2nd disk for progeny, it's just as useless as the debian 2nd and 3rd CD_ burn it or get a toaster.

got progney at xcyber's mirror.

finally, installed progeny! So, how good is it?

pros: fast install, GUI interface to apt-get default installation makes debian easier for lamers like me sawfish by default fast! on a p-450/512MB ram thinclient...

cons: the apt-get GUI interface is still buggy (accurately should be 'tasksel' interface) the font bundled sucks no default i18n support does not suit my style of playing

postscriptum: it can serve as a backup system for some sid(Still-in-development) users, well... :)
